World Cup 2010

The World Cup 2010 Prediction Game contains 4 different contests: Classic Contest, Cup Contest, Drop Out Contest and Challenge Contest.
The Tournament Prediction has to be entered until the first match of the Round #2 (16th Jun - 20:30 CET). Please notice: The Tournament Prediction ist important!


Here are some information about the contests:
  • Cup Contest: The World Cup 2010 Prediction Game has 8 rounds (Group match #1, Group match #2, Group match #3, Round of 16, Quarter finals, Semi finals, 3rd place match, Final). That means that a maximum of 256 players (2 raised to the 8th power) can play in the Cup Contest. In order to keep this contest open to all players, the 1st round (Group match #1) is used as a qualification round for the best 128 players. Shortly after the first 16 matches are played, the best 128 will be added to a randomly chosen cup round slot. To determine the first 128 places the players will be will be ranked by the following criteria: number of normal points, number of points in the Pools contest, number of points in the Spiegel contest, number of points in One & One contest 09/10.
  • Drop Out Contest: It is very likely that this contest will have than just one winner. It is possible that up to 30 players will win the Drop Out Contest ;-)
