I want to get rid of the 'Best of the Rest' prediction game (unless someone takes over). Too much work.

I think we should add two more football leagues (one European and one non-European). I don't care how the polls will look like. Maybe we should give Greece and Chile a 2nd try.

Possibly been discussed before?? Should predictions not be done only for 3rd/4th group positions now, and then the next round of predictions only be done once the draw is known. Your predictions now are based on the luck of the draw eg if RM and Barca are drawn then 1 is out, but I'm guessing if u pick now, u will have them both going further, and not be knocked out in round of 16.

The public Classic contest (and most of the 70 Private leagues) includes also a tournament prediction. In the past, some players missed to enter a tournament prediction and - as a result - lost the chance to win the public Classic contest. You should enter a tournament prediction until the beginning of the the first round #2 match (Russia vs. Slovakia - Wednesday, 15, 15:00 CET).

Starting with round #1 (Groups D, E & F) the Cup contest contains 10 rounds. As a result of this limitation there are only 1024 (= 2^10) Cup round spots available. The first 1024 players which enter a prediction for a match of round #1 (Groups D, E & F) will be added automatically to one of the remaining Cup spots.

What about an annual poll for a Player-of-the-year award?

Would agree with leaving 1 or even 2 spots open each season, to be filled on a rotational basis. Even for marketing purposes, u dont want to just add leagues.

Some information about my current programming on this site:

- The current databse API used on this site is deprecated and won't be available in 2-3 years. In order to keep the pages working in the future I started to replace the old API with a new one. The programming started a three month ago and will take a few month more. Hopefully there will be no problems on this site in the meantime. As a result the prediction game should be a little bit faster. With the new database API it will be possible to switch to a new server.

- I know that most of the internet traffic nowadays is requested by mobile devices. The current site lacks a reasonable customization for small screens. This problem is on my list, but I'm not sure yet how to solve this issue. I started to program a site particularly for mobile devices, but this might not be the best option. I'm working on it...

My home town Hamburg will apply for 2024 Olympic Games. But as the EURO 2024 will be held in Germany (hopefully), and Boston is the favourite for the 2024 Olympics, the 2028 Olympics will be more realistic.

There were some problems with the Rat Race contests caused by data redundancy in the data model. I made some extensive changes and I hope the problems are gone now. The Rat Race contest itself stayed unchanged.

One final try to establish a fair scoring system for golf prediction games.

Rugby sevens is a very fast game with lots of running and very few technical interruptions. It lasts 14 minutes vs 80 minutes for rugby union matches. It is played in almost every country in the world!!! In Africa Kenya is No 2 and has beaten all top teams including the All Blacks before. You have regional strong teams like Japan, you have Canada and the USA as strong teams and one of the most underrated teams currently playing sevens is Portugal!.

Whilst very few of you may have whats sevens it is very very popular all over the world and now that it is an Olympic Sport I can foresee that it will not be long before it becomes one of the top 5/6 team sports at the Olympics!

Today it was released to the public, that Marco Reus (probably the best German football player) was driving without a driving license for over 7 years: He never made the according test.

As you remember before Ukraine Championship was to be held in two phases and the first phase was completed by the end of April. But after canceled 2-step and decided to calendar a little stretch. Therefore, the tour which was planned on September 24 will not be on and 27 September will be played matches of the Cup of Ukraine.
And that's just from October 2 championship resumes (that will be played on the tour which was planned by the old calendar, September 24). Because of this and changed the dates of all other tours going after 4 okyatbrya.

Why Have Only 30 Players Been Entered Into The 1st Round
Out Of 48 Active Players ?

On Tuesday a meeting of the executive committee of the FFU. It was decided the championship of Ukraine in 2 laps only. The second stage - Divide into groups, it was decided to cancel.

So we have only 26 rounds - please have some changes in calendar (need to delete 27-32 rounds).

If the calendar not changes, the Ukrainian championship finishes in April.

I repeat: the match will be as indicated in the calendar: Ilichevets-Volyn. But the match will take place not in Mariupol, and Lutsk. But these changes do not have a calendar
A match of 14 rounds will be listed in the calendar as the Volyn-Ilichevets, but the match will take place in Mariupol. And it also will not be shown on the calendar.
You can not change anything, but just to know that actually hosts and guests swapped.
Except for the links I have no other information.

Just found out that UEFA banned the Dnipro to play in Dnipropetrovsk in European cup matches and match Dnipro-Copenhagen will take place in Kiev. A few weeks ago UEFA allowed to play Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk ...

Management premier league, considered the letters FC 'Volyn' FC 'Chernomorets', given the situation in the east of Ukraine, decided:

1. Determine the location of the match of the 1st round of the PL 'Illichevets' - 'Volyn' - Lutsk. Match the 14th round between the teams held in Mariupol.

2. Determine the location of the match of the 2nd round of the PL 'Illichevets' - 'Chernomorets' - Odessa. Match the 15th round between the teams held in Mariupol.
