Vanaf 15 mei 2025 nodigt deze 15e editie van ons gerenommeerde voorspellingsspel je uit om je onder te dompelen in de spannende wereld van golfvoorspellingen. Met een line-up van 22 intense wedstrijden krijg je de kans om je vaardigheden te tonen en deel te nemen aan drie verschillende competities.
Begin met de Classic Contest, de meest prestigieuze van allemaal. Hier zal de speler met de hoogste totaalscore de ultieme roem verdienen. Ervaar vervolgens het competitieve karakter van de Cup Contest, een reeks spannende play-off confrontaties die je op het puntje van je stoel zullen houden totdat de uiteindelijke winnaar opduikt. Daag jezelf ten slotte uit in de Drop Out Contest, waar het aantal potentiële winnaars met elke ronde kleiner wordt, en je voorspellingsvaardigheden tot het uiterste worden getest.
Hoewel de winnaars van de competities geen geldprijzen ontvangen, wachten de eer en glorie van de overwinning op degenen die zich bewijzen als de beste voorspellers. PGA Championship
The PGA Championship is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four major championships in professional golf, along with the Masters Tournament, the U.S. Open, and The Open Championship.
The tournament was first held in 1916 at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York, and was won by Englishman Jim Barnes. Originally, it was a match play event, where golfers compete head-to-head, but in 1958 it was changed to a stroke play event, where golfers compete against the entire field.
Over the years, the PGA Championship has been won by many of the greatest golfers in history, including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy. The tournament is traditionally played in August, but starting in 2019, it was moved to May.
The importance of the PGA Championship lies in its prestige and the opportunities it presents to the winners. It offers one of the largest purses of any golf tournament, and the winner receives a five-year exemption on the PGA Tour, a five-year exemption for the other three major tournaments, and a lifetime exemption to the PGA Championship. It is also a key event in determining the members of the U.S. and European Ryder Cup teams.
