Possibly been discussed before?? Should predictions not be done only for 3rd/4th group positions now, and then the next round of predictions only be done once the draw is known. Your predictions now are based on the luck of the draw eg if RM and Barca are drawn then 1 is out, but I'm guessing if u pick now, u will have them both going further, and not be knocked out in round of 16.

But until Catalonia isn't in Spain, Real Madrid and Barcelona won't meet each other in the Round of 16. Maybe further...

And why is there 42 clubs to choose from, when only 32 are remaining in the competition?
It's already difficult to find between all these 'FC Club' and 'Club FC' and whatever else is in the official names.
But then those ten extra entries in the dropdown lists only make it worse.

I personnally never had any problems with this. What difficulty are you referring to ?

It might take you 5-10 more secondes to find a team. I'm sure we can all live with that :)

Let's remind ourselves that this is a free site, and the work Klaus and the admins do, did and will do, is quite remarkable. In my opinion.

Yes there are maybe some thing that can be improved (as in every aspects of our daily life), but still, this site is good.

Example: let's choose Napoli club from the list. Should I look for the entry 'FC Napoli' towards the front of the list, or for entry 'Napoli FC' towards middle ? No, it's 'SSC Napoli' at the end of the list, how could I know. And I struggle like that with every entry I want to make. Good for you if your eyesight is sharp enough and you can easily take in the whole list at once.

And when finally I fill in all positions, but the message 'Still missing...' remains at the bottom, I start to worry.
This is the first competition where this happened to me, so I decided to ask about it. Better be safe than sorry.

Guess its just using the official name for each club - I know what you mean in a way.

In England most sides are ....FC but of course across Europe and the World its different.

Well I don't what to say. We can't change the clubs' names.

This is not really something that can be 'corrected'.

Yeah, and there are a lot of tricky ones in cycling there, like you are looking for Nibali and there's no Nibali. But, boom, you find him under V.Nibali. :))

Or Rui Costa is found under F (Faria da Costa). :)))

You just have to get used to it. Not a very intellectual exercise but at least lets your vision warm up before you enter your prediction as to avoid situations like mixing up Lopez guys from the list which probably cost me a silver last Vuelta...

On team names, while I would probably like shortened names like Napoli, Juventus etc. more I can perfectly understand that in some cases it may not be that easy to pick a correct short version that everyone would like (eg. Sociedad or Real Sociedad; Lyon or Ol.Lyon etc.), so official names are always the safest option. Besides, some people prefer it that way.

Its just luck of the draw in the latter rounds - you still get a decent points total in most cases.

Barca and Real seem to have avoided each other for ever!
