I can't promise I will be there to check the final results precisely upon expiry of the deadline on Saturday. It surely isn't going to matter for the Sweden-Iran poll but Columbia-S.Korea rivalry is pretty tight so if I may ask anyone who will be logged in around that deadline to take a look who the winner is, just in case, that would be great.
I'd like to avoid a situation where a vote cast after the deadline would make a difference. In case there are no witnesses I will just take the result valid as of when I log in (hopefully, in the worst case scenario, just shortly after the deadline) :)

Regarding the first SF, some technical details.
Uruguay has some unusual format, featuring a so called 'Intermedio Trnmt' between the customary Apertura and Clausura. This tournament, held in May-June consists of two groups with the winner of each group playing for a Copa Sudamericana and Supercopa Uruguaya berth. I'd assume we would not cover this tournament on here but limit a potential URU comp to the usual Apertura and Clausura.
As for Norway, it's one of the very few spring-to-winter leagues (played between March and December), which is thought by some players on here to be a nice alteration to standard July-Sept through May-June leagues.

As I have mentioned before I don´t play the football leagues (except for a cameo visit to the premier league this season) but in the interests of democracy and instilling my own beliefs on others like a true politician whether people agree or not I do like a vote in these.
Norway for me feels best for the community..the main two reasons being one you mentioned as in a rare summer league in Europe that we cover and secondly for the admin side of things, 99 times out of 100 you would imagine things would run smoothly in the country for the game also to do so.
The added bonus for any guys taking part in champions league and Europa league and Norway league you can get an idea of how your teams might do in the early rounds as the other European leagues come out of hibernation to get a nice little advantage on your oppo.

I've decided to change a bit the formula for the semifinals.
Instead of two separate SFs, there will be one 4-team SF poll with each player having 2 votes. Top-2 teams will qualify for the grand final. I think it's going to be more fun this way as 2-team polls are getting a bit boring (at least to me :)), esp. where there is one clear winner from the start.

Is this change needed now though..? The match ups have in the later rounds been at least a little more interesting, yes true the earlier rounds this would have been a God send...BUT as this will also shorten the whole odyssey by a WHOLE week...I'm in :) .

As Uruguay still stands on 2 votes after a day in South America and that is quite unusual I'm starting to suspect that Klaus' poll (which has quite a lot of text, too) overshadows the final ftbll expansion poll, esp. that it displays first.
My fault with timing! I decided that when the poll on re-opening matches closes in one day and 2hrs, I will re-announce the ftbll poll and extend the deadline to 7 days from then.

Some additional info (hope I'm correct understanding the rules :))
THe season consists of Torneo Apertura, Torneo Intermedio and Torneo Clausura. Apertura and Clausura are classic round-robin formats (15 games). Their winners qualify for the championship semi-final and the winner of that one meets the top season-aggregated table team in the Final. If the latter happens to be one of the semi-finalists, no Final is played and the semi-final winner automatically wins the championship.
In case the same team wins both A and C, they are automatically declared champions without any further playoffs.
The relegation is decided over a 2-seasons relegation table.
Intermedio is more of a summer filler (played in 2 groups) and its winner goes to URU Supercopa final. We won't cover that one and will stick to Apertura and Clausura only?

Si!

No Michael, no tanto. Los argentinos en general saben poco del fútbol uruguayo. Pasa más al revés, los uruguayos siguen mucho al fútbol argentino.
