Tomorrow a big GC clash at Tourmalet is expected after today's peaceful sprint stage day.
Acc to cyclingstage.com:
The Col du Tourmalet is a monster of 18.9 kilometres long. Averaging at 7.4%, the gradients are fairly consistent for most of the climb, but this changes in the last 2 kilometres. This section goes up at almost 9%, while it even ramps up to 13% just before the line.
I can almost feel my legs aching even though I am sitting on the sofa...

An interesting little stat, which shows with certainty what the prime age for a GC rider is.
The average age of top-10 finishers in the last 10 years is practically the same for each of the three grand tours.
It is: 29
