Italy beat Wales 24-21 in Cardiff Saturday for their best ever finish in a Six nations campaign having won two games and drawn one.
I know from the N series about Six Nations that there has been a recurring discussion if Italy could ever match the level of the Original Five (=if Italy joining the tournament in 2000 was a good idea at all). Only 15 Six Nations wins in 24 years. Never beat England. It seems though that they are finally starting to prove they belong there.
