Never thought I'd say it being a big cycling prediction games fan but are we taking into account that Tour of Britain is actually a part of UCI ProSeries, so a 2-tier cycling tour, not a part of the WorldTour?

The only WorldTour multi-day races left in 2023 are: Tour de Pologne, Benelux Tour, Vuelta a Espana and Tour of Guangxi. I think the last one is still not on our list (12-17 Oct).

Just looking quickly at the winners of some of the UCI ProSeries tours earlier this year. These include MA.Lopez, Jorgenson, R.Costa, DF.Martinez, Pogacar (Vuelta Andalusia)!, Alaphilippe, Healy, TG Hart and M.van der Poel, so maybe it's worth it afterall.

As for ToB, 2021 was won by Van Aert (Hayter 2nd, Alaphilippe 3rd) and 2022 was won by G.Serrano (Pidcock 2nd, Fraile 3rd). Looks promising.

Yes, not an UCI World Tour. But it might be interesting, because we have some players from the UK. The Tour of Britain has 8 stages which gives more opportunities with the Cup contest. We'll see... maybe the first and last edition here.

Looking at the numbers of players/cycling fans playing games on procyclingstats, zweeler etc. or people voting in 'who wins the stage?' polls on some cycling sites, which are counted in thousands, it is really a pity that our great cycling comps engine is used by 20-30 players per game.

If we could only find ways to get through to these thousands out there to connect to our site, this combined with automation of the data/startlists enabling to handle comps more effectively, would make this site a big part of the cycling fans world. Then we could do a whole bunch of 2nd tier races too :)

But I don't know how to do it... Maybe I'm too optimistic anyway. Many people would only play if there are prizes.

No, I have one idea. A guy with a big banner 'prediction-game.com' running in front of Pogacar going on a solo at Tour de France.

But let's do it in small steps. Darren, are you going to be around when the Tour of Britain starts? :):)
